WHAT WE DOWe
screen, diagnose and treat sleep apnea.
THE PROBLEM
OUR PROGRAM
Our program systematically screens,
diagnosis, treats, and monitors compliance This program will:
The program is divided into four
parts:
1) Screening -
the initial screening is
accomplished by the employee completing a
short web-based medical
questionnaire at no cost to the company. Completion
time is less than 5 minutes. The
results are computer analyzed by a scientifically
validated software program.
2) Diagnosis – employees that show risk for having sleep
apnea will be further diagnosed with an
exam and sleep study. Depending on the employees exam the sleep study may be at home or at a sleep lab.
3) Treatment – our program offers a full line
of the latest treatment modalities. Oral Appliance
Therapy is our first choice
for mild and moderate cases of sleep apnea.
Satisfaction rates and
compliance rates are over 90%. CPAP is our first choice for severe
sleep apnea. The Department of
Transportation requires CPAP therapy for commercial drivers
with severe sleep apnea. We
offer automated comfortable top quality CPAP machines so that
commercial drivers do not need
to miss work.
4) Treatment monitoring- for commercial drivers the Department of
Transportation requires the employees
with severe sleep apnea to use the CPAP
machine a minimum of 4 hours during the previous
24 hours of driving. Our CPAP machines are
equipped with data cards to verify the employee's
compliance.
Oral appliance therapy is monitored with Sleep Connect, Inc. monitoring sensors.
This new technology will allow oral appliance therapy to have its compliance verified. For additional information or questions please contact Kelly at 209 365-1110 |
